Well, that’s a wrap on principal photography for Trengellick Rising // Trengellick ow Sevel
A whirlwind week of half-indie, half-guerrilla filmmaking, to create our black & white Cornish Language film, inspired by silent films from the 1920s.
The team behind the scenes put all they had into this production, and sometimes more. Battling the elements, location dynamics (who doesn’t love lugging kit over Bodmin in the rain?) and narrative tweaks to fit changing production circumstances.
It wouldn’t have got to the end without them, and audiences would have nothing to see. What started as an idea fromWriter & Director @guypotter_, has become a film from them. When we’re all sat down watching the film on a big screen some day in the future, what we all experience will be entirely down to the group effort of a fiercely committed and passionate cast & crew.
More to follow, posting in retrospect - it all happened so fast that we nearly didn’t have a moment to share/savour it! 🏴☠️ 〓〓
